New stills and premiere date from ‘Prospect’
written by Marilia with No CommentsPedro Pascal stars in the upcoming sci-fi film, Prospect. The film is adapted on a 2014 short film of the same name and will be premiering this March 10 at the South By Southwest (SXSW) Film Festival in Austin, TX.
Alongside Pascal and Thatcher, the cast includes Jay Duplass as Damon, Andre Royo as Oruf, Sheila Vand as Inumon and Anwan Glover as Mikken.
Prospect is written and directed by Zeek Earl & Chris Caldwell and produced by Andrew Miano, Chris Weitz, Scott Glassgold, Dan Balgoyen, Garrick Dion, Matthias Mellinghaus. You can read the film’s synopsis down below:
“A teenage girl and her father travel to a remote alien moon, aiming to strike it rich. They’ve secured a contract to harvest a large deposit of the elusive gems hidden in the depths of the moon’s toxic forest. But there are others roving the wilderness and the job quickly devolves into a fight to survive. Forced to contend not only with the forest’s other ruthless inhabitants, but with her own father’s greed-addled judgment, the girl finds she must carve her own path to escape.”
