‘The Equalizer 2’ First Trailer

written by Rory with No Comments

In 2014, Denzel Washington took over Edward Woodward’s ’80s TV role as the retired spy turned revenge specialist Robert McCall for a big-screen version of “The Equalizer.” The film earned $192 million worldwide. Now he’s back in “The Equalizer 2,” which has just released its first trailer, and — stop us if you’ve heard this one before — this time, it’s personal.

After his friend and fellow former operative (Melissa Leo) is murdered by C.I.A.-trained assassins, McCall vows, “I’m going to kill each and every one of them, and the only disappointment is that I only get to do it once.” Cut to scenes of guns blazing and bones snapping.
